• Dracula Unleashed is a 1993 video game created by ICOM Simulations and published by Viacom New Media for the DOS, Apple Macintosh and Sega CD platforms. It was one of the earliest titles to make heavy use of full-motion video as an integral part of the gameplay.

Dracula Unleashed was made by the same team behind the Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective series (and an in-game newspaper even contains a Sierra-like reference to that game). Unsurprisingly, the gameplay is exactly the same blend of FMV clips and a limited interface to trigger them.

Dracula Unleashed Dvd

Dracula Unleashed is an FMV adventure game developed by ICOM Simulations and Viacom New Media. It was published on the Sega CD by Sega and the PC/Mac by Viacom New Media in 1993.

On December 12, 2002 Infinite Ventures published a version of the game meant to be played using DVD players.

Plot

The story takes place a few years after the events of Bram Stoker's Dracula and all of the main characters from the novel are represented here. The player assumes the role of Alexander Morris, a wealthy Texan, who travels to Victorian England to investigate the death of his brother Quincey.

Gameplay

As Morris, players navigate the city seeking out any and all who may have information about the death of your Quincey.

Each 'location' is merely a different film sequence which will offer the player clues and information. Unlike the Sherlock Holmes games, players must stay aware of time and inventory. Entering houses with different items in hand, or at different times of the day will trigger different sequences, and certain pivotal scenes can be missed entirely if time is mismanaged.

It takes place in 1899. Ten years have passed since then, as Dracula, supposedly, was destroyed. You have to play the role of Alexander Morris, the brother of Quincy Morris, who died tragically in the final novel by Bram Stoker. Alexander comes a letter from the priest, who begs him to come to London to investigate the death of his brother.So, the Prince of Darkness is back, driven by revenge and hunger, the craving for human blood. If you dare, take the role of Alexander Morris, but remember that you have to go on a terrible trail headless corpses, vampire brides, and wolves through the blood soaked through the streets of London. You will be involved in the world of evil, where every decision and action that you are making, is inextricably tied to the fate of those whom you love.
